It’s pretty hard to work out what’s happening in this photo, but maybe this explanation will enlighten those who care to look.

Maintenance. We love it. Above you’ll see shipwright Greg looking at you through the cutout for a bronze porthole.

We lifted the outer deck plank, hence we why you can see the sky, to rebuild the beam ends and thought we’d repair the timber under the porthole while we were at it.

Søren might be 77 years old, but with work like this she will outlast most of us!
