Here are some highlights of our time on board Viking sailing on Viking Sea.
The last couple of weeks onboard Viking Sea with Chris, cruising from Athens to Istanbul, have been packed with unforgettable destinations, amazing food and fascinating history.
Viking reminded me why they do ocean cruising so well. From the service and the onboard atmosphere to the thoughtfully included experiences, it’s been a fantastic way to travel and sharing these adventures with Chris.
I’m heading home with lots of insider tips, plenty of photos, and even more confidence in recommending Viking.

Next stop Aix en Provence 🥰
It was so good to catch up with my mate .
I had verbal diarrhoea by the time i caught up with her.
Aix is a charming old town famous for its markets, food, wine and home town to Paul Cézanne, famous French artist.
I happened to be there in the peak of the Lavender season, hence the number of pictures I took.
There were some serious insta influencers on the trip. Not sure how many selfies one can take 🤷‍♀️.
I also visited the region of Luberon, a beautiful area in Provence. Quaint villages and scenic countryside.

Next stop: Annecy 💙

What a gorgeous lakeside town! Today included a day trip to Chamonix, where we started at 0°C and finished back in Annecy at a hot 35°. This lake is one of the cleanest in Europe due to strict environmental protections. It used to be quite murky.

I took the cable car up to Mt Blanc and did you know it’s the third most visited natural sight in the world. Tip arrive early to avoid the crowds.
The water temperature in the lake was perfect 🤩

A destination that’s definitely earned a place to recommend to all my lovely clients and friends.

🇫🇷 Three incredible days in Lyon.

Lyon truly offers the perfect blend of history, culture, gastronomy, and world-class wine. A wonderful destination to explore.

From exploring the city’s vibrant streets and historic landmarks to enjoying a relaxing river cruise and wandering through the cobblestone laneways of the Old Town

A particular highlight was a winery tour visiting two very different vineyards. 🍷 One showcased the future of winemaking with a fully automated operation, while the other celebrated tradition as an organic, family-run estate. Two unique experiences.

I have spent the last week cruising from Bali to Singapore with Azamara Pursuit.
It’s been an amazing week on this small ship with fabulous staff. The entertainment and food were excellent as were the agents I travelled with on this fact finding cruise. Thank you for this opportunity

This week I have been fortunate to have been invited to experience cruising from Bali to Singapore. Our first stop was where we stayed for 2 nights and definitely luxury on the beach.
We have thoroughly enjoyed cruising on Azamara Pursuit. The food and entertainment have been fabulous !

I have just spent 3 days in Roma and caught up with Chris.
Whilst there we stayed at 2 different properties , Villa Spalletti and Hotel D’ingleterra and both stunning .
So glad to be back, only took me 40
Years and surprisingly hasn’t changed too much 😊😊
