From swimming in pristine lakes to spotting wildflowers on a hike through Kosciuszko National Park, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.
1. Banjo Paterson Park
Located on the scenic shores of Lake Jindabyne, this lovely green space features a modern playground, skate park, a memorial walk and monument to Sir Paul Edmund Strzelecki – the first European explorer to discover and climb Mt Kosciuszko in 1840.
2. Jindabyne Skate Park
After a fantastic upgrade in 2024, this amazing Park is quickly attracting a legion of fans. It boasts an exciting array of features such as a refurbished bowl, new half-pipe and even a mini-ramp for small skaters and riders! Hours of fun for all levels.
3. Lake Swimming
The cool alpine waters of Lake Jindabyne are the perfect way to rejuvenate your senses on a hot day. Enjoy a paddle with friends or a picnic in one of the many secluded spots in and around the lake grounds.
4. TVT Bike Ride
If you’re ready for a thrilling downhill ride along a 37.3km trail under alpine gums, this is for you. A memorable, riverside journey through the picturesque Thredbo Valley, the TVT Bike Ride is a must-do for mountain bike enthusiasts looking to test their skills.
5. Porcupine Rocks Walk
Enjoy nature at your own pace with this family-friendly walking trail in the Kosciuszko National Park. Brimming with wildflowers in the warmer months, the walk takes you up to Porcupine Rocks for breathtaking views of the Thredbo Valley and Main Range.
