🗓️ Monday 13/07 Flight & Ferry Update ⛴️✈️

Qantas has scheduled two additional flights on Monday following Sunday’s flight cancellations.

If your travel was affected, please check your messages from Qantas for your updated flight details.

✈️ Outgoing Flights & Ferry Times

🛥️ QF2487 – Ferry departs 7:00am
🛥️ QF2489 – Ferry departs 9:00am
🛥️ QF2499 – Ferry departs 11:45am (preferred) or 1:00pm if required
🛥️ QF2497 – Ferry departs 1:45pm
🛥️ QF2491 – Ferry departs 3:15pm

For all arriving flights, we will have staff at Horn Island Airport to meet you. Simply see our team at the airport for your ferry ticket, and we’ll get you safely across to Thursday Island.

💳 Torres Strait Residents:
If you live in the Torres Strait and have ID showing a Torres Strait address, you’re eligible for our discounted local fare of just $25.

This fare is available in person only – on board the ferry or at our office.

Flight Update – Saturday 4 July Ferry Service

Qantas has advised that flights QF2490/QF2491 on Friday 3 July (the late flight) have been cancelled.

To accommodate affected passengers, Qantas has scheduled an additional replacement service on Saturday morning – QF7942/QF7943, departing Horn Island at 9:10am.

To assist with this additional flight, Torres Strait Tours will operate an extra ferry service on Saturday 4 July:

🛳 Depart Thursday Island: 7:00am
🛳 Depart Horn Island: 7:15am

Incoming passengers will connect with a ferry as soon as baggage is available.

If you are travelling on the replacement Qantas service, please make use of this additional ferry.

Courtesy Bus Pick-Up Notice 🚌

We love providing the best service we can, and our free courtesy bus on TI is part of the package for our customers. ⛴️🚍

⏰ To help us make sure everyone is picked up in time for their ferry, we need enough notice to coordinate our team and schedule each run properly.

👭👬👶👧🧒🛍️💼🧳Please remember that our bus often has multiple passengers to pick up and drop off, so calling 10 minutes before ferry departure does not give us enough time to organise a pick-up.

🕰️⏱️We require at least 1 hour’s notice for courtesy bus pick-ups.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept pick-up requests with less than 1 hour’s notice. Where available, short-notice pick-ups may instead be offered through our Ride Share service, with a $10 fee applying.
