We’ve been putting some Aussie Powersports - ATV UTV Quad Accessories, Hunting gear through its paces up in Cape York and I wanted to give them shoutout.
They’ve backed RideNorth with products to trial in real world conditions, not showroom testing but proper punishment across mud, rocks, river crossings and long distance touring over many years.
We recently ran the Terra Master tyres on our lead Maveric and they’ve proven to be a solid all rounder for Cape conditions. Good traction in the wet, handled the sharp rocky sections well and performed consistently across mixed terrain.

RideNorth is heading international North.
This is not just another tour — this is a true expedition into one of the most raw and untouched countries in our region, there has never been a SXS event in TL
Timor-Leste offers terrain unlike anything in Australia. Steep mountain climbs, jungle tracks, river bed tracks, and remote coastal runs. It’s unpredictable, challenging, and exactly what SxS’s are built for.
But what makes this trip different is the country itself.
Timor is a proud nation with a hard-fought history. The roads are rough, the conditions are real, and the experience is completely unfiltered. You’ll ride through remote villages, meet incredible people, and see a side of the world very few Australians ever do.
This is not a polished, easy ride.
It’s a proper adventure.

No Helmet- No boots please! 👣💦
River crossings can be one of the most challenging parts of a SXS trip, especially when the water is deep or fast flowing. Before entering a crossing, we always advise removing your boots and helmet, and latching your seatbelt in behind your back. This allows for a quicker exit in an emergency and improves your ability to swim if you need to get out of the vehicle. Preparation and awareness make all the difference when conditions are unpredictable 🌊😎
Don't forget to be "Croc Wise" also when in Croc Country 😲Sometimes its best to stay in or on the vehicle too🤣🐊
