Together on Country: Strengthening First Nations Tourism ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒฟ

Last week, Queensland Country Tourism hosted a powerful First Nations Tourism Famil with the Bunya Peoples Aboriginal Corporation, bringing together passionate operators and industry leaders working to grow First Nations-led tourism across our region.

We had the privilege of visiting Gummingurru and Bonye Bush University, where the focus was on connection, cultural exchange and supporting the development of meaningful tourism experiences.

A huge thank you to our generous hosts and all attendees who contributed their insights and enthusiasm on the day. Your voices are vital in building a more inclusive, culturally rich tourism future in Queensland Country.

As part of this continuing program, weโ€™re looking forward to visiting The Ration Shed Museum in a couple of weeks, another opportunity to learn, listen, and grow together.

๐Ÿ‘‰ This initiative is proudly supported by the Queensland Government and the Australian Government.
