🌍 When Travel Became Too Easy… Did We Lose Something?

I recently read an article that really hit home—it talked about how smartphones have made travel too easy.

No more asking locals for directions, stumbling upon hidden gems by accident, or getting gloriously, hilariously lost. Instead, we follow the blue dot on a map and swipe our way from one “must-see” to the next.

And in doing so, we miss the best bits:
✨ The laughter in the unfamiliar
✨ The kindness of strangers
✨ The magic in the moments we don’t plan

That’s why I’m such a believer in slow travel—where it’s not just about staying connected (to Wi-Fi), but getting connected—to people, to place, and to the present.
