My name is Ashlee and I have been working in the travel industry since late 2015 and have enjoyed every minute.

If you know me then you know that I took 2 years off during COVID-19 because...pandemic. But in April I officially got back in to travel with the Ignite Travel Group in the My Holiday Sales Centre and I could not be more excited.

We are package specialists for Australia, the South Pacific, South East Asia, and Hawaii. Our exclusive packages are prepared to include all the must haves in each destination but we can always add a little extra as well.

I am passionate about ethical and mindful travel, as well as producing educational and cultural experiences for my clients.

As a travel advisor, I will give you that human element a search engine just cannot give. It is my responsibility to go out of my way to help you create the perfect itinerary. Whether that be a short weekend getaway or a longer escape internationally; to research new or different destinations; to preempt problems which might occur and create a solution before it has even become an issue; to give you the peace of mind that your trip is in safe hands; to keep up to date on industry news so that I can keep you updated; and to get as excited about and invested in your trip as you are.

Testimonial from a “was abroad as covid hit” traveler: go through an agent. Everything they either know or can get information for faster than you. having a change of plans, knowing what insurance will cover what, even getting the refunds when things like this happen is more organised and faster than if you do it yourself. There is no agent in my town so I tried to organise my trip my self (done it for 10 years soloing) but now that covid hit I’m still waiting on refunds from March, insurance was s**t, and I will drive hours to the next travel agent for my next trip.

It's been one of those years.

Today is my last day in the travel industry due to the impact of COVID-19.

I'm heartbroken, devastated and anxious about the future, but I am also grateful. Grateful that I ever got to be part of this industry. Grateful I was given a chance. Grateful for the incredible people I've met and the inspirational women who've been my leaders.

I don't know what the future holds but i am positive it will work out. I am sure I will be back in no time.

Thank you to all of the people I have met in the industry who have helped me to grow and challenge myself. Thank you for helping me through some of the toughest times in life. Thank you to all of the people who have supported my career over the past 4 1/2 years by choosing to book with me instead of online. I want you to continue supporting your local travel agents because without them, you're on your own.

The side of our industry the media don't report on. We all have some amazing stories of making sure we have our clients backs!

Well done to all the Travel Agents out there, it's been a rough week but we will come back stronger than ever.

Trish & Ashlee are happy to report the last of our clients that were overseas have there tickets and are coming home!!!
💪 They didn’t have to wait on hold for hours to an airline - they have our mobile numbers / social media connections
💪 They didn’t have to line up in the chaos of the airport ‘hoping’ they would get on the flights
💪 We are taking care of their cancellations for the missed portion of their holiday.

I understand right now this is a unique and uncertain time and I just want to let you all know, I am here for you.

As your agent and travel advisor, I am inundated at the moment as you can imagine.

What I kindly ask of you at this time;

If you are NOT travelling between March - April please be patient with me. I am happy for you to email me as I understand you are concerned but please understand I have passengers that are all around the world at this moment that have flights, tours and cruises etc cancelled and need my help.

I need to prioritise the people departing in March and April.
