Hey friends, no mucking around here we are clearing out and it’s time to sell all the things!!
We have big ticket items like a cryovac machine and blast chillers and smaller items like food grade tubs, containers, gastronorm trays and utensils, confoil foil trays, pie trays, cryovac sleeves of different sizes and signets cartons. Also, cleaning supplies, cartons of gloves, beard nets and more. If you or anyone you know are interested in any commercial catering supplies please get in touch! As I said, one thing after another right?
Story time….. we’ve had another obstacle with packaging…truely it never ends. But instead of keeping our lasagne off shelves for potentially months as we did with chicken parcels, we’ve decided to package them like this in the interim. I know, I know, it’s not our stunning signature packaging but you guys were pretty devastated when we kept the chicken parcels hostage for so long and lasagnes are our best seller so we dare not keep them hostage, especially not over the holiday season. Anyway, different, not as beautfiul look but the same amaizng, delicious, much loved lasagne as always 🥰

Wowza, one thing after another round here at the moment. So after nearly 3 weeks of fighting fires on some neighbouring Properties and then our own, thinking the fire was over multiple times just to see another light up or jump breaks, we have our fingers and toes crossed that’s it’s over now. With a mere spot of rain, and I really mean just a spot, might be enough to keep it out and with any luck, that spot is just the start of a decent wet season to come 🤞🏼🌧️ and a few less rainless storms of lighting, done with that for sure 😂🤪🥴⚡️🔥👨🏼‍🚒 thank you to the friends that travelled out to give us a hand, we really really appreciated that. And to our Mum, Dad, brothers who worked on the front line tirelessly for days and nights on end and to our SIL .anning who kept them well fed and watered. What a good, hard working bunch. It’s a huge job fighting bush fires in the dry summer heat, especially as non qualified firies with little gear. Fire is incidious. Funnily enough, in all the action and exhaustion these lot were able to remain in decent spirits and even appreciate the beauty in the beast and it rip roared through our country. Also for those of you who are wondering, I know a couple of our girlfriends have asked us this so I thought I’d share…..fences were cut, the cattle remained safe 🥰 and now the huge task begins of getting things back in order after all that fence cutting, sorting out water and feed, hopefully in time to have some days off for Christmas!!

I’ve seen this other brand of pie on the shelves next to us at a few stores, in fact I’ve even taken one home to try it. Not bad at all but I haven’t met many pies I didn’t like 😏🥧
The alternative option was marked at a lower price than ours so immediately I flipped to the ingredients to find out why and I wanted to show you what that price difference means.
It simply means that we’ve packed in more quality ingredients than you can shake a fork at.
The 41% beef is premium grass fed beef straight from our family cattle station and processed at our award winning small home town butchers. The 20% vegetables are locally sourced from our friends (and stockists) in Townsville and we peel and chop them ourselves. The pastry we source from a small family business in Brisbane and is made to order.
So as you can see there’s not much room left after the good stuff. The remaining 10% is sauces and spices and we use normal cornflour to thicken up the gravy.
So there you go…just a little FYI in case you were wondering 🤠🐮

When one door slams in your face and knocks you off your feet, a window of opprtunity opens…eventually! Grateful to all the people who engaged in our story and offered advice or a helping hand. Turned out this is exactly what we needed, so excited to finally have a stockist in the beef capitol of Australia! Also, you can’t imagine how hard it was to talk this fast! 😂🐮 Australia
