⚠️ROSS STREET CONSTRUCTION WORKS — FROM 14 SEPTEMBER

The Port of Townsville has advised us that further construction works are scheduled to take place on Ross Street, in front of the wall and our Vehicle and Passenger Terminal, from 14 September 2026 for up to three weeks as part of the Ross Street transit corridor works project.

If you usually park in the area on Ross Street (see map below), please make sure your vehicle is relocated by Sunday 13 September 2026.

Driveway access to Magnetic Island Ferries Vehicle and Passenger Service will be maintained throughout the works.

Parking is available across the street in our secure customer carpark, or via the Port's Quayside Terminal carpark at no cost.

The Port thanks you for your patience during these works and looks forward to providing an asset to benefit the local community.

We recently welcomed the berry big lap and their family aboard Magnetic Island Ferries, towing their 21ft caravan (a total vehicle length of 8.5 metres), and they had this to say:
