NAIDOC 2026 – A Heartfelt Thank You
Trangie Local Aboriginal Land Council would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the community members, Elders, families and students who attended our NAIDOC 2026 Celebration on 3rd August.

Your presence helped make the day a wonderful success and a meaningful celebration of culture, community and connection.

A very special thank you to the Royal Flying Doctor Service for providing the BBQ for our special day. We greatly appreciate your support and generosity.

We would also like to sincerely thank Yarning Crescent for generously handing out Penrith Panthers jerseys and hosting a free raffle, giving attendees the chance to win a Canterbury Bulldogs jersey and a Parramatta Eels jersey. Your generosity was truly appreciated by everyone who attended.

A special thank you to Elder Uncle Ralph, who conducted our Smoking Ceremony to start the day.

A sincere thank you to local Elder Uncle Rusty, who delivered a beautiful Welcome to Country, setting the tone for a day of respect, culture and connection.
