Our second departees are off on a 'work gig' and speaking from experience I do know what some of these 'work gigs' entail and usually it's not all work. These lucky departees are heading to Europe for their conference which happens to be at the 5* Club Med Cefalu and then they'll be exploring Barcelona and Majorca before exploring Croatia a bit more and due to flight changes they can now catch up with family in London for a quick beer/wine before heading home.

Today's departee is a young lady who celebrated her 21st on the weekend and today is off on a big solo adventure to Canada.

She will be joining Contiki's Ultimate Canada. A 19 day adventure starting in Toronto going via Montreal, Quebec, Whistler, Banff and Jasper before finishing in Vancouver. This tour is the one that gives you the full Canadian experience: lush landscapes, mountain treks & epic cities.

At the moment Australia’s Level 4 travel advisory for Middle Eastern airports is making travel harder than it needs to be. Transiting through Dubai or Doha for a few hours is not the same as travelling in a war zone. I’m backing ATIA’s campaign to bring advice in line with the UK, Germany and France.

Today's departee's off on a multi country itinerary that I did not have enough space to put all the photos. They are revisiting some cities so they can explore them again but this time in depth instead of just a few hours there.

Some of the beautiful destinations they are visiting in Spain and Portugal are: Barcelona, San Sebastian, Bilboa, Porto, Lisbon, Cordoba and Ronda. Then it's off to Paris, Brussels and Gent before flying to Dubrovnik and sailing to Split. On the way home it's a relaxing stop in Singapore to catch their breath before flying back home.
