Terminal reflections… ✈️

I find myself completely lost in people-watching.

We are all moving at an impossible speed and 90% have their eyes glued to screens. I wish I could tell everyone to freeze. Slow down, disconnect, and pay attention to those around you. Quit letting the chaos steal your presence, find some patience, and just be kind.

Looking around the terminal at the people walking past me, everyone has a different story. There's the teenager sprinting by on a video call, totally oblivious to the world around him; the older, more cautious couple holding tight to each other's hands; the big, loud family sharing a laugh in a language I cannot understand; and the sleeping backpacker spread out on three chairs. The list goes on... Remember that everyone you see is experiencing/fighting their own hidden battle/journey—so just be kind.

The world is big and sometimes terrifying, and we let the rush of it all affect our attitude. It takes immense bravery to plunge into foreign spaces, to decipher unfamiliar accents, to trade comfort for the unknown, and to let your entire worldview stretch across new horizons.

Travel will always be worth the cost—it's the absolute only investment that makes your soul truly richer. But just slow down, remember to breathe, and take it all in! ❤️✨
