Over two days, Tuncurry Coach Tours delivered a day trip to Newcastle for a unique Hexham Bridge opening and Hunter River Cruise.
Nova cruises put on a relaxing tour for us with morning tea and dessert on board while our lunch stop was at The Junction In Raymond Terrace as part of our day trip.
It was great to see the bypass from a water view rather than from the road and exciting to see the Hexham bridge open in action just for us!

Day 3 Our Beautiful Bellingen tour
Today was home day but not before we added in some extra sightseeing along the way.
We farewelled our beautiful accommodation at the Lodge and headed east towards Valla.
This little seaside village maybe smalll but it sure is beautiful!
We stopped by the lookout for some photo opportunties then down to South Valla Beach where we were gifted with some whale sightings.
We also visited the boardwalk where we stretched our legs and enjoyed a break from the rain.
Next stop was onto historic Gladstone where we ended our tour with lunch at the hertitage hotel Gladstone.
3 days done and dusted and we managed to stay pretty dry. We had lots of yummy food, w**e, market and farm life all rolled into one.

Day 2 of our Beautiful Bellingen tour.
Hmm where to start?
So today we started the morning with a 1900's historic Old Buttter Factory visit. We enjoyed some morning tea and some shopping here before heading into the rolling green hills and pastures of Hydes Creek
Here we entered the Levenvale Farm paddocks, home of Bello Beef.
Greeted by owner Georgina with an amazing grazing board, comprising of all the local producers products in the area.
Hearing their family story was very inspiring and the link between the land and the food come together which showcased regenerative farming was evident in the quality that we were delivered. A beautiful Paellla featuring Bello Beef was served for lunch and a tour of the farm followed.
With still much more to showcase in the Bellinger Valley, we ended a great day at the Raleigh Winery with more food and delicious food.
Another spectacular day with great company.

Day 1 Beautiful Bellingen 3 day getaway.
With a wet start, we departed home for our 3 day tour with the hope that the rain would subside.
As we made our way up Waterfall Way, the skies cleared and the sun came out periodlically.
Today was all about taking in tje Bellingen vibe and this was done by spending the morning browsing the Markets for interesting stalls, home cooked goodies, plants and nic nacs. Bellingen markets set a relaxed atmosphere as live music played in the background.
The main street was buzzing also where we had time to purchase lunch and do some more shopping. We ended the day with a visit the Bello Brewery with a round of drinks to share amongst our travel friends. This afternoon we checked into our beautiful accommodation at the Lodge and settled in with dinner together. Keep your eyes peeled for the adventures that we will be having over the next two days.

Travel Club Monthly Meeting - REMINDER

Just a friendly reminder that the Wallis Lake Tourers Travel Club meeting is on TOMORROW, Tuesday the 13th of October at the Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club. Doors opening at 10:00am for a 10:15am meeting start.

With the release of a new short Overnight tour and the opening of the Travel Club Christmas Party this will be another great meeting with plenty of people in attendance..!!

🌏❤️ WHAT AN ADVENTURE! ❤️🌏

Nine days, incredible scenery, unforgettable experiences, wonderful food, amazing wildlife and, most importantly, fantastic memories made together.

Our last 2 days of touring were spent at the amazing Monarto Safari Park.

This was truly a great way to finish what can only be described as a tour to remember...

Darwin → The Ghan → Katherine → Alice Springs → Coober Pedy → Adelaide → Monarto → Home.

What an incredible journey! 🚂🌅🦒🇦🇺✨
