Meet Maggie - My Assistance Pup In Training

You will see Maggie from now on at the pool with me.

A few key things to help us achieve our goals:

1. Please don't engage with her unless I giver her the command say G'day or tell you, you can say hello.
As much as she would love pats, kisses and attention I really need her to not look or seek it out.

2. I will always have treats on hand so at the end of every lesson if she has been good every week I'll let someone different give her a treat. I ask that this is brief but a positive interaction.

3. Because she is learning and the pool is a very loud, busy, very stimulating environment every now and then she may let out a bark but it's best we ignore this as she will learn not to by not getting the attention she wants. In this instance she would get negative attention.

Thank You!

My little swim school wouldn't be what it is without the beautiful families that join me in the pool each week and the amazing organisations that support us. Your family and children are not just another number, they are our community and at the heart of our business.

I love what I do and appreciate everyone trusting me with their little people. It's a great honour to be able to teach children the life saving skill of swimming and I hope that my passion shows. My mission is to inspire, encourage, challenge and make your children feel safe.

This year has seen our business grow beyond what we ever envisaged and we are so thankful! We don't always get it right but we try our bloody heart out!

Thank you for joining us for our first annual Christmas Party. I'm already coordinating with Santa for 2025's as he is a busy man. I hope everyone enjoyed meeting Santa, the photographer, glitter tattoos and balloon art and bbq lunch.

I am very humbled to have been awarded the Successful Start Up for my swim school. It wouldn't be possible without the countless beautiful families that support my small business and give me the opportunity to teach their children a life skill.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Due South in Ulverstone, to teach my Swim School out of their facilities.

Due South is a self-funded, world-class wellness organisation for Veterans and First Responders.

Due South, is a self-funded organisation committed to delivering wellness initiatives for our nation’s Veterans, First Responders, and their families.

Serving as a logistical hub, they provide unique and tailored wellness experiences designed to support the brave individuals who serve our country.

Out facilities include 3 purposefully designed homes, 3 family apartments, and an off- grid retreat property.

At our Wellness and Reconnection Centre, you’ll find a community hub, clubhouse, large accommodation facility, specialist centre, fully equipped gymnasium, and hydrotherapy pool.

Driven by selfless team of dedicated volunteers, our wellness programs are carefully planned and delivered. Importantly, our charity model excludes wages, ensuring that every donation aligns with our commitment to supporting those who serve.

Due South operates by the 90ten principle, directing 90% of every donation to wellness initiatives and maximum of 10% to administrative and general operating costs.
