Just one of the perks for working out in the field servicing kits...you get to enjoy stunning views like this.

Last month John went out to service the Sunwater Burdekin Dam Sites which have finally stopped flowing since Nov 2024!

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Sarah and Kieran from the Abacus Motel in Mt Isa.

During John's most recent trip out west, he had a fall in his room, knocking him unconscious and leaving him with a concussion. Being so far from home and on his own, you can only imagine how scary this was to his family who were unable to help.

Sarah and Kieran flew into action after receiving a phone call from Anna. They were able to go check on John and call an ambulance in a timely manner, getting John assistance at record pace.

Sarah and Kieran's generosity didn't end there though. They made sure that John got back to the motel safely after being discharged from the hospital, as well as picking up Anna from the airport so she could help John get home safely.

They truly went above and beyond, and we couldn't be more grateful for their help.

Can you believe Easter is just around the corner? I can't. It feels like this year is just flying by.

With many of you planning on heading away camping these school holidays have you thought about your first aid kit?

Most camping sites are remote and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I mean, that's why we go camping in the first place right?

If one of your family members were to be injured and need medical help, it could take some time for MedVac, or an ambulance to get to you, so is your first aid kit stocked if something were to happen?

Some things to think about to help you prepare before you head away:

How many people are you travelling with?
What risks are involved in where we are travelling: Snakes or spider bites? Hiking and risk of a fall? Etc.
Is my first aid kit stocked to support my family if something were to happen until paramedics arrive?

We have kits of many sizes that will suit you for any scenario. Come by the warehouse or give us a call so we can help you be safe this school holidays.

Already have a first aid kit? We can service it for you to save money and keep you and your family safe!

Have you heard of this? The Golden Hour is a term used to describe the first 60 minutes after a traumatic injury has occurred. After this hour, if medical attention isn’t received, the chance of survival decreases significantly, and loss of life can occur.

This is why it is so important for each of us to be first aid trained and always have a first aid kit readily available, so that first aid can be administered while you wait for paramedics to arrive on scene.

We know many of our clients and followers live in remote and rural parts of North Queensland where emergency services are more than an hour away. Your initial first aid is critical in the survival of your friend or family member. Are you prepared?

Head to the link in our bio to read more about it.

First aid supplies, just like most other products, have an expiration date....and that's for good reason!

While the supplies may look fine, they should not be used after their expiration date, and should be removed from your first aid kit.

Here are just a few examples of what can happen to your products past their expiration date:

👉Creams and gels may have adverse reactions
👉Crepe bandages can lose their elasticity meaning correct tension can not be achieved
👉Plasters lose their adhesive properties.

Removal of expired items is included in our onsite servicing to give you peace of mind, knowing that everything in your first aid kit is stocked and in date, leaving you prepared for any emergency situation.
