Congratulations Skal International Sunshine Coast on 30 great years of doing business among friends! Here’s to many more!

Skål Sunshine Coast turns 30 today—and yes, we’re still standing…Even after a little shake-up this morning!

While folks across south-east Queensland (yes, even here) were feeling their houses do a mini “Mexican wave” thanks to that 5.6 magnitude earthquake this morning, nothing’s stopping our Skål spirit from powering on.

So, how about we keep the momentum going with real-world connections (not seismic)?

The 112th Skål Australia National Assembly in Adelaide is shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend of connection, collaboration and celebration! 🎉

🐾 We’ll kick things off on Friday 5th September with the Business Exchange at Adelaide Zoo, followed by a fun-filled Welcome Party also at the Zoo — complete with great food, great company, and maybe even a few animal encounters! 🤫

📋 📈 Then on Saturday 6th September, we get down to business at the National Assembly, held at the elegant Crowne Plaza Adelaide. Here we’ll hear from Clubs across Australia, share ideas, and make plans for the future of Skål. It’s a chance to learn, collaborate and ensure our organisation continues to grow and thrive.

💃🕺And we’ll wrap up the Assembly in style with the Black Tie Gala Dinner at the stunning National Wine Centre of Australia — an evening of elegance, fine South Australian wines, delicious food and celebration with Skålleagues from around the country and beyond. ✨🥂

As the first Skål Club established in Australia and a shining example of the Skål spirit, Sydney continues to lead the way in connecting tourism professionals, growing membership, and promoting the values of friendship and collaboration.
