House and Home Management was set up by its founder Katie Wood in 2019.
Katie has a high level of experience in an array of accommodation management. She has been in the Property industry for over 18 years, with experience in both permanent rental management, holiday accommodation management and hotel management. After working along side some amazing people and wonderful companies, Katie decided to set up her own boutique management business.
Her passion for helping people is the reason for starting this business. “I wanted to start a business that meant something more to me than just financial gain, and also something where I was able to combine the three most important things in my life, being a mum, a wife, and looking after peoples properties. I have been doing this job since I left school, this industry is in my blood and I love it! I want to offer my Clients an honest, happy, exciting, humble, and professional experience. I don't want them to be put on hold or wait to speak to someone they don't know. I want to talk to them and let them know that they really matter and I do care”
The idea for her business came together when talking to a friend about the management of a property whilst she was away on holiday. There was not a local Agent they could find, that would do a one off management working in conjunction with AirBNB. “Why shouldn't people earn an extra income on their own homes when they are away? Why do they need to sign into these long term contracts in order to achieve a step forward financially?” To Katie it didn't make sense, and she wanted to help those in this situation.
