Our Darwin and Top End Tour is off to a great start. We arrived safely in Darwin and have enjoyed an incredible visit to Litchfield National Park yesterday before a great tour of this beautiful city today. What a great place to be.

We have made it safely to the South Island and enjoyed our beautiful winery lunch.

Heading south from Auckland we visited the Waitomo glow worm caves before continuing on to Rotorua, the Sulfur city. We have enjoyed an incredible couple of days in this volcanic wonderland, with a visit to the Kiwi hatchery, a tree walk among the redwoods and a brilliant cultural experience and haangi dinner at Te Puia. Now we continue south with a lunch stop today at the beautiful Lake Taupo. The adventure continues as we head for Wellington.

Our first 4 days in New Zealand have been incredible. Even through a bit of rain and bad weather the experiences have been unforgettable. A big thanks to Fullers Bay of Islands for a great day out yesterday and an awesome, if slightly choppy, cruise today

Sad to say it’s time to get on the plane and leave our island paradise. A huge thank you to Paradise Hotel & Resort Norfolk for some wonderful meals and accommodation during our stay. And another huge thank you to the team at Pinetree Tours for all the work you did to make this an unforgettable time. Until next time!

You couldn’t ask for a better way to spend our last day on the island. A very interesting start to our day today with a visit to the home of author Colleen McCullough. She lived an incredible life and her house still has some stories to tell on her behalf. We then had some time to do a bit more shopping on the island, and some of us visited some more museums. Finally, the big finish was the Pinetree Tours Fish Fry. An incredible night of singing, dancing and feasting. We also enjoyed some traditional Tahitian dancing from the Baunti Byuutis.
