Pack your bags and head to Mataranka for a dip in the stunning Bitter Springs – opened just in time for the Mataranka Rodeo.

Bitter Springs and Mataranka Hot Springs at Elsey National Park are both now open to visitors.

A huge thanks to NT Parks and Wildlife rangers who have been working hard to open these sites.

Visitors can take a short walk in the beautiful riverside setting before refreshing with a slow swim through the crystal-clear waters.

🚫 Carpark 1 (Boulder Creek) remains closed - access via Carpark 2 only
🚽 No toilet facilities are currently available on site
