Update Half lap WA - NT
Hi everyone, we are 6500kms into our 13,000km half lap.
Since last update, we have eco glamped at Karajini, in the Pilbara, the dingos howling at night and the morning, it was freezing through the night but electric blankets made it cosy. We had a tour through Rio Tinto mine in Tom Price, huge and I think after Kalgoorlie, Perth - all the head office skyscrapers, the Pilbara and Pt Hedland, the massive 4 trailer trucks and the largest privately owned rail network in the World, our guests are realising just how big this WA mining really is. We have visited the beautiful Eighty mile Beach, and some iconic roadhouses.
Now we are in Broome, Pearl capital of Australia and ever so remote, nothing much in either direction for approx 700kms. It’s lovely and we enjoyed learning all about the Pearling history today. Stunning Cable beach sunset tonight followed by delicious 3 course dinner at Cable Beach Club formerly Zander’s. Tomorrow is a free day, some are doing Horizontal falls, it will be amazing 🤩
The Courthouse markets are also on 😊
Till next update enjoy the photos
