The first snow of the season hit Mount Donna Buang and Mount Bride today, blanketing the top of Warburton Bike Park, where our self-guided mountain bike adventures launch from.

One minute it’s summertime splashing in the river, then autumn rolls in with spectacular foliage lighting up Warburton’s trails — and now the first snow as we head into winter.

And sometimes it’s a road-stopper too! Drive carefully, delays may be encountered and Donna Buang Rd may close at any stage if conditions become hazardous or if the summit car parks are full.

Keen to tackle the trails? We recommend our 3-hour private ride — transport and bike guide included. Depending on your ability, that’s 5–6 laps of pure downhill enduro fun, with plenty of recovery time between runs.

Over the past two days, Team WAC took on intensive Swift Water Rescue training on the Snowy River with
Swiftwater Safety Institute Australia, in 45-degree heat 🥵🌊
