This stunning ringed planet will be at its best for viewing, making this a perfect opportunity to see Saturn through our telescopes. We’ll also look out for Mercury, explore the constellations of Scorpius and Sagittarius, and discover plenty more wonders in the night sky.

With no Moon to wash out the stars, the sky will be beautifully dark, pristine and filled with stars. ⭐

Dogs are welcome in many of our outdoor spaces, making Waroona the perfect destination for two-legged and four-legged explorers alike.

A friendly reminder to keep your dog on a leash where required, clean up after them, and always check local signage. Please note that dogs are not permitted in Yalgorup National Park, and at Drakesbrook Weir they must remain on-leash and are not permitted on the grassed areas or beach surrounds.

We’re making it easy to leave the car behind!

A continuous shuttle bus will operate between Waroona town centre and Charla Downs on Fawcett Road throughout the day and evening, from 9:00am until 11:30pm.

The shuttle service will also include two scheduled return trips to Lake Navarino Holiday Park, making it even easier for visitors staying locally to enjoy the full rodeo experience.
