The journey kicked off in Kununurra, where I stayed at the Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments – a great spot to base yourself for all that the area has to offer and then jumped aboard a sunset dinner cruise on Lake Kununurra and cruised the Ord River with Triple J Tours, complete with a riverside lunch.

Next up, I headed to Discovery Parks- Lake Argyle where I snapped ‘Insta-worthy’ shots of the iconic Infinity Pool, went crocs potting, and took a refreshing dip in Lake Argyle on the Kimberley Durak Sunset Explorer Cruise.

Then it was off to El Questro Homestead for 3 nights of ultimate luxury, enjoying an all-inclusive stay, featuring a Chamberlain Gorge Cruise, a hike to Emma Gorge, a private swim at Zebedee Springs, and visits to Explosion Gorge and Branco's Lookout.

After a brief overnight in Kununurra, I flew with Aviair to Purnululu National Park where I based myself at The Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge and explored Echidna Chasm and Cathedral Gorge, took a 30-minute scenic flight over the Bungle Bungle Domes and Red Rock Gorges with Helispirit.
