Matthew Goodall and Damien Nicol, Warrnambool fitter and turners, have joined forces and created Niflex Engineering at 27 Strong Street, in Warrnambool’s industrial estate.

5 tonnes of 316 stainless, cut and laser etched for an upcoming gas plant shutdown.

We’ve just completed a big run of fl**ge slip plates, with every plate individually marked for quick and easy size identification on site.

From cutting to identification, it’s all about making the job easier when these hit the ground.

From workshop repairs to on-site installation, this stainless mixer barrel received a complete overhaul. We repaired extensive cracking, replaced the trunnion roller ring, fabricated and fitted new roller mounting frames and completed the on-site installation. Keeping our customers equipment running reliably from start to finish.

Another addition to the Niflex workshop!

Today we took delivery of a TOS SU125. Sometimes the older machines are simply built better than the new ones, and this is one of those machines.

With 6 metres between centres and an impressive 1,250 mm swing over the bed, this lathe significantly increases our turning capacity for large shafts, rollers and heavy components.

We’re excited to get this one set up, put it to work, and see what it can do.

Michael and Darcy have wrapped up a successful three-week project, completing pipework modifications and various site upgrades.

Tasmania job complete! ✅

Mark and Darcy have spent the last couple of weeks carrying out repairs and upgrades on a bitumen plant, helping get the site ready for continued operation.

Another quality job delivered and plenty of hard work put in along the way. Well done guys!

After 9 years with the Niflex crew, today we say goodbye to Harry as he moves on to his next chapter.

Harry has been a big part of the team over the years, and while we’re disappointed to see him go, we’re excited to see him take on a new challenge after purchasing WD Hydraulic Hoses.
