🧺 Warrnambool Markets – A Local Tradition
Fresh bread still warm from the oven. Conversations over crates of citrus. Handmade goods with the scent of beeswax and eucalyptus. In Warrnambool, our markets are more than a weekend plan — they’re part of the rhythm of life.
Here’s your guide to what’s on, where, and when:
🛍 Timor Street Market
📍 180 Timor Street (CBD)
🗓 Open daily, 10 am–5 pm
More than just a quick stop, Timor Street Market is a beloved Aladdin’s cave in the heart of town, perfect for spontaneous treasure hunts. Inside, you’ll unearth vintage and retro gems, antiques, books, records, handmade wares, clothes, accessories, jewellery, quirky collectibles and treats.
🌿 The Fresh Market Warrnambool
📍 Lake Pertobe
🗓 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month
This vibrant lakeside market brings together growers, makers and foodies. Think just-picked produce, handmade wares, and the hum of a busy morning by the water.
🌱 Warrnambool Community Garden Market
📍 Grieve Street (Community Garden)
🗓 Every Wednesday, 3-6pm
The only weekly produce market in town. Seasonal veg, herbs, fresh bread and preserves, all grown or made by locals, right alongside the garden beds where it all begins.
🎶 Warrnambool Summer Night Markets
📍 Civic Green & surrounds
🗓 Returning December 2025
Long evenings, local bites, live music. These twilight markets light up summer with food trucks, artisan stalls, and the smell of dinner on the breeze.
🛍 Undercover Sunday Market
📍 Warrnambool Showgrounds
🗓 Every Sunday, 8am–1pm
A bit of everything — retro finds, tools, plants, crafts, clothing, hot food and a good yarn. Around 70 indoor stalls, plus more outdoors when the weather plays nice.
🏭 Fletcher Jones Market
📍 Flaxman Street
🗓 Open daily, 9:30am–5pm (closed Christmas Day)
Housed inside the historic mill, this all-weather indoor market is a treasure trove of vintage goods, antiques, handmade pieces and local curiosities.
Whether you’re here for a weekend or lucky enough to call Warrnambool home — these markets offer more than what’s on the tables.
They’re stories, smells, and slow Sunday starts. They’re what makes this place feel like a town, not just a stop.
