APPLETHORPE TRAFFIC INCIDENT 🚧⚠️ Queensland Police Service have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) following a traffic crash at Applethorpe this morning.

The exclusion zone encompasses New England Highway from Aerodrome Road to High Street.

UPDATE: The earlier emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act in Applethorpe has been revoked.

The New England Highway remain closed and traffic diversions are in place.

The Warwick Visitor Information Centre will be closed this afternoon Wednesday 30 July 2025 due to unforeseen circumstance and will re-open on Thursday 31 July at 9am.

The Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre remains open - drop by or call them on 07 4681 2057 between 9am-4pm daily.

YOU CAN’T STOP THE MUSIC! // There will be singing and dancing at Jumpers and Jazz in July right through to the end of the program, and it definitely won’t be in the rain. 🎶🎺💃

Little sprinkles from the heavens have led to a shuffle of venues, but the festival is still going strong. Please read through this important post from the festival organisers to make sure you are on top of any changes.
