At Nathan's Place you can enjoy the quiet of the country along with all the action King Valley has to offer, all only minutes away. The Mountain View Pub and Whitty Café

are just down the road along with numerous wineries and restaurants within a short drive - Pizzini, Dal Zotto and Gracebrook to name a few. Great for relaxing getaways with friends and family, Nathan's Place is a complete home away from home, featuring three queen bedrooms (set-up to sleep five), fully equipped kitchen and dining area, spacious lounge with comfy couch, TV/DVD player, CD player, books and games. All linen and towels are provided. No pets please. Attractions and events in the area include the King Valley Winter Wine and Food Festival held over the Queens Birthday weekend and La Dolce Vita each November. The King Valley Shed Wine Show is another great event to keep an eye on. The Mount Buller Ski fields are just over 100 kilometres away. The Winton Raceway is 68 kilometres away whilst the Ned Kelly Touring Route also calls by Whitfield. Weekly rates available on request. Powers Lookout, Whitfield

"We stopped in here on the way through to Mansfield from Whitfield. The gravel road is really good quality and the drive easy. There are two lookout points available from very short walks - both have incredible views on a clear day right along the valley. The further lookout requires you to navigate some steep but well-made stairs, but the view is well worth a little effort. Great little story about bushranger Harry Powers too. Highly recommend stopping off if you’re in the area."
