Shed Pad, Tank Pad, Trenching & Demolition (Williamstown SA 5351)

Here's a property located at Williamstown in the beautiful Barossa Valley that is having some major outdoor renovations conducted. The biggest difference is the new shed and 2 x 22,500L water tanks. My job was to first do a little demolition, prepare the shed and tank pad as well as dig the trenching for power, water and sewage.

Backyard Clearance - A Jungle No More!

I was called back out again to a previous clients property to help make their jungle of a backyard into a usable space for their kids to play. I think they were just hoping to be able to put a trampoline up at best given the state of the area. Their property is very hilly with lots of rocks among the surface.

Here's two different job sites that I've completed some concrete preparation on recently. Both are for new houses that have just been built. The owners are in the process of getting all the house perimeter, footpaths and driveways concreted. It is definitely one of those big and expensive parts of building your own home. This clients backyard was a whole meter (plus some) higher than the house and was not a flat surface at all. Pretty unusable if you ask me and really bad for rain run off. So they wanted this problem sorted out and to do that I had to do a massive backyard dirt removal task. I'll be honest, this shed demolition and removal job turned out to be bigger than I originally thought. Turned out the shed was, well basically a shed within a shed. Completely decked out with insulation and inner wall for a teenage style retreat. On the backyard renovation wagon again today. Well specifically a Backyard Patio Excavation to be a bit more precise. This yard was not big at all and what space they did have was pretty much unusable for anything recreational. Too much of an awkward concrete jungle for such a small space in my opinion.
