It was really an honour to be welcomed by the President of Central Mindanao University (CMU), Dr Rolito G. Eballe, on my recent visit. The university started life, in 1910, as the Mailag Industrial School founded. It is one of the oldest premier universities in Southern Philippines. It has an enormous campus and a wide range of teaching and research disciplines. Due to its history, and location in the rural heartland of Bukidnon province, CMU is a force in teaching and research in the fields of agriculture, animal science, and veterinary science.
Dr Eballe is a mathematician specialising in research into the pure mathematics of graphics.
Special thanks to Cristine Belle Anunciado Enad and Dr Soriano for organising the visit, and hosting me.
In case you are wondering, we are making a 'C' with our hands, to represent CMU.

Our relationships with our clients can last for many years, spanning a range of issues such as temporary visas, permanent visas, and citizenship.
Steven and his mother, Anna, came to me in 2017. They arrived from Northern Ireland on a ship in 1966, when Steven was just an infant. When they came to me Steven had been refused a citizenship application. I first helped him to get him and his mother resident return visas. A couple of years later I managed his new citizenship application. I’ll never forget being with him in my lounge room, during a COVID lockdown, while he undertook his citizenship pledge via Zoom. Soon after, when Anna returned from a trip to Northern Ireland, it was her turn for a citizenship application.
That process finally reached its conclusion last month when Anna attended her citizenship ceremony.
After 58 years living as Australians, it is now official. It is the the end of our professional relationship, but our friendship continues.
