We're heading into the final stretch of whale season at Wilsons Prom! After spending the cooler months in warmer northern waters, humpback whales are now heading south toward Antarctica.

We had the best time exploring Wilsons Promontory on this cruise. The staff were very knowledgeable & friendly made us feel very Welcome. We were lucky enough to start the cruise watching a whale making its way north. Loved the seals & all the beautiful rock formations; highly recommend putting this on your list to do while visiting Wilsons Promontory.

Known for their spectacular breaches, humpbacks can lift most of their bodies completely out of the water, which is pretty impressive given how big these animals are!

Before every adventure on the water, our amphibious vessels have to make their way through Tidal River Campground and down to the beach. Specially designed to travel on both land and water, they allow us to launch directly from the beach before heading out to explore the Wilsons Prom coastline.

Someone had a little extra energy! 🐋💦

We spotted this mum and calf, and the little one certainly wasn’t shy, breaching again and again while mum cruised alongside. Safe to say, the calf had plenty of energy to burn!
