Great picks from todays June long weekend market to the tune of our new record - The Shadows.

Big thanks to Wollombi RFS whose efforts made this possible. These people quietly go about their efforts - usually out of the spotlight.

There was just so much to see…

Big thanks also to the great vendors and all the punters who come make it a great market 🙏🏽💥🎉

Sunday - the final day of autumn in Wollombi Valley 🫶🏻

On one of my favorite bends, with favorite cows, great trees and that barn.

Sunday morning was sparkling after the 50mm of rain Saturday. Washing away the dry autumn and polishing it clean ready for winter.

The first shots are as the sun comes up over the hills, the others, more blue, getting towards sunrise in ‘blue hour”.

Winter is more black and white, frosty but still our signature mist on the valley floors.

If you get to stay in Wollombi Valley make sure you go for early morning walks.

Dropping in on the Trading Post, Laguna. A place popular with those who love a day trip, great food and the unhurried country feel.

Its ambience is rustic sophistication — a favourite with car clubs and locals. Serious meals for your travels.

They have now recycled the “Pig & Whistle” into a lounge area with games like darts and foosball.

Wollombi Valley is the Hunter’s chill zone — totally unhurried, down to earth and perfectly happy with its wild and remote community living in the slow lane.

“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”~ Oscar Wilde
