Woodfordia: The Game

It's going to be a massively playful year at Woodford this year!
Folly Games is back with the Fae creatures, this time inhabiting the woods by night. Also, they'll be performing a musical theatre experience once again. Abstract other worldly playfulness to be found here.
For lovers of the old game and it's pun filled antics rejoice, for a new game that follows in that tradition is starting this year at Woodford.
The rainbow nights, players from the last game world, have created Champions of Woodfordia, a new game world that will be the same scale as the old game and every bit as fun.

If you're interested in volunteering applications open in October.
We're all looking for performers for the festival and makers for the build.
LARPers and old school game style performers apply to Champions.
Strange creature interactions and otherwordly wonder performers to The Fae Forest.

Come Away with the Fae
The Fae are setting up an embassy at Woodfordia. It has been hundreds of years since the veil has opened between our worlds. They want to leave the conflicts of the past behind and form a better relationship with humankind, for the future of both our worlds. We invite you to Come Away with Fae and be part of this historic moment.

The Fae Embassy is a large-scale immersive interactive theatre performance within the festival. There are roving immersive performer roles, cabaret roles working with director Natano Fa'anana, and many making roles to choose from. Costumes, giant sets, and props.

We are looking for performers and makers to join our brilliant volunteer crew for this year's Woodford Folk Festival Dec 27th-Jan1st.

Crew Callout Coming Soon!!

Hi everyone 😁 This year we will once again descend on the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival 2022/2023! If you are at all interested in participating in our project please feel free to contact me personally at Tashi Kronenberg with an expression of interest. We are looking for both crew/build and performers. Please contact me if you’re interested in joining so I can give you meeting times personally.

For Thank You Thursday this week, it's a shout out to Tara Gallop-Breenan. An absolute delight as a performer and a choreographer, as well as a creative contributor of many things. This is her in the role of Mandalf. Thank you for all that you do, Tara.
