We try include those little details that sometimes others miss, to make you feel that little more welcome to stay at ours!

So the storm passed (yay we made it, through 95km/hr winds at Woorim beach) and we had a few bits of furniture knocked around, and a fence that needs some love but apart from that we are back on deck!

This post is about the ‘humpy’ that was made along red beach who was a very loved icon for locals and visitors to the area, a very creative piece of history! The night before the cyclone passed some bright spark decided to burn down the roof, so when the storm came it would all fall apart!

Now this actually meant something to the creator, he was struggling with depression, and it was a symbol of hope for him!

We always walked to the ‘stick hit’ as we called it and we loved the natural artistic qualities it possessed, being at one with nature!

We will miss the stick hut indeed!

Always a fan of the frangipani, even though it drops its leaves! Something about the smell and colour changes slightly each season!

Well after 3 years some really bright spark has taken our surfboard landmark.

We do get extremely frustrated when things we leave for enjoyment for our guests are taken.

Some things that have gone missing include:
- plants
- clocks
- electric air water coolers
- pillows
- lounge cushions
- parts of tables
- chairs
- styling items
- inside/outside games
- beach trolleys

And now a surfboard - that wasn’t even usable.

Oh well I will end this post- with the quote the artist left on the surfboard, ‘peace, love and happiness’!
