🚨 TC Narelle Travel & Roads Update – VITAL INFORMATION 🚨

Travellers across WA’s Gascoyne, Mid-West North, Ashburton & Murchison regions are still being impacted by road closures and flood damage.



⚠️ CRITICAL: Main Roads WA Travel Maps DOES NOT show all LOCAL ROADS.

You MUST check local government road reports to ensure all roads are open and passable, or you risk becoming stranded or needing to turn back over extended distances.



🚫 Closures & Restrictions:

• Exmouth CLOSED to all visitors (residents only, ID required, 4WD access via Burkett Rd)
• Onslow CLOSED due to water supply issues
• No access beyond Gascoyne Junction for the foreseeable future

Note that fuel is available only during roadhouse opening hours for the moment.

Starting Monday 23rd February, we’re ready to welcome you:

🕢 Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 6:30pm
🕗 Saturday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
🕗 Sunday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

🚧 Heads up: Our caravan park is still getting a makeover 🛠️ and is temporarily closed,
🛏️ but our comfy rooms are still available for bookings!

Murchison Settlement is a great place to stop as you explore the Wool Wagon Pathway.

Are you planning on travelling to Murchison Settlement? You must travel by vehicle to get here, there are no buses or flights. Murchison Settlement is located on the Carnarvon Mullewa Road, 200km from Mullewa, 242km from Yalgoo, 253km from Cue, 300km from Geraldton, 387km from Mount Augustus and 653km from Perth. The Mount Magnet Mining and Pastoral Museum exhibits a vast collection of artefacts and photographs from the town’s rich past. Countless voluntary hours and more than twenty five years has been dedicated, by members of the Mount Magnet Historical Society, to collect, restore and preserve this unique collection.

Now on permanent display, the museum provides an insight into early pastoral (since 1878) and goldmining activities (since 1891) which make up the Murchison region's history. Insight is also given into a rapidly vanishing way of outback life.

The original Boogardie State Battery has been rebuilt on the museum site and, with other relics, is a must-see for tourists and residents of the region alike.
