When team FTB heard that some of our favourite guests who  have stayed with us since the beginning - were arriving at the house yesterday to celebrate their birthday,  - they went via the house and did this

Okay, followers spent a long time updating the website photos etc and also added a video - you will see it will says For The Birds, Hillbrook Estate (that’s fancy 21st-century branding ) but those who don’t know our farm is called Hillbrook Farm, It was named in 1906.
After clearing it it was established as a dairy -when we took over you could still see the remnants of where the original house sat, some of the very old fruit trees,including a very old apricots tree, my pony bluey (the original, not that impostor of the dog), would nibble off the tree and somehow manage things to just leave the stones in place, a privy, a butter churn,and the dairy shed, that you can see from the road - I can’t imagine how hardit was to run the dairy in land not suited for it (we have photos of the horse and cart and owners)- anyway the video shows the house and Hillbrook - unfortunately it was overcast so no incredible view ###

⚠️ A Bushfire Advice is in place for people in an area bound by Wildwood Road, Abbey's Farm Road and Blythe Road in YALLINGUP SIDING in the CITY OF BUSSELTON.

❗ WHAT TO DO ❗

- Stay alert and monitor your surroundings.
- Read through your bushfire plan and decide what you will do if the situation gets worse. You can make a plan by visiting My Bushfire Plan mybushfireplan.wa.gov.au.
- Watch for signs of a bushfire, especially smoke and flames.
- Close all doors and windows, and turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible.
- If you have a respiratory condition and you have been affected by smoke you should contact your local doctor or call Health Direct on 1800 022 222.

If driving
- Turn your headlights on and drive slowly.
- Watch for emergency services personnel and follow their directions.
- If you cannot see clearly, pull over, keep your headlights and hazard lights on, and wait until the smoke clears.
