Goulburn Australia is now Goulburn NSW, covering Goulburn and the towns and villages around it.

This new direction is inspired by the colours, textures and stories that make the region unique.

There’s nothing quite like a country show. The animals, the ribbons, the showground chatter, country cooking and generations of locals coming together make these much-loved events a true celebration of country life.

In the Hilltops corner of the Southern Tablelands, there are a couple of special show days on the horizon. Bribbaree will celebrate its milestone 100th Show on the Saturday of the October Long Weekend, while the Harden-Murrumburrah Show returns later in spring for another great day at the showground. 🌾

Pack the car, follow the country roads and make a day of it. Out here, the showground is just one of the many places you’ll discover what country living is all about.

🏵️ Spring is in bloom across the Southern Tablelands, and those beautiful frosty mornings have melted away into a new spectacle of colour. Across the Hilltops Region, yellow canola fields and delicate stonefruit blossoms in shades of pink and white are among the season's favourite sights.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is also on the horizon, with two Saturdays to look forward to. Keep an eye on their socials for festival updates and activities, or pop by during business hours to wander among the blossoms and enjoy a tasting. With warmer afternoons and a little more daylight to play with, it’s the perfect excuse to make a date with golden hour. 🌅

Take the scenic route to a cellar door, find a quiet spot beside the river, wander heritage-lined streets or pack a picnic and settle in somewhere with a view. Then stick around as the afternoon light turns golden and the sun slips behind the hills.

Sometimes the best part of a spring day happens right at the end of it.
