Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to everyone affected by the recent tragedies involving the two vessels capsized at sea. ❤️

As people who spend a large part of our lives offshore, stories like this hit close to home. The ocean is an incredible place, but it also demands respect at all times.

Moments like these are also a reminder of why we make the operational decisions we do at Conquest Charters.

There are times customers become frustrated when trips are delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled due to weather conditions, however safety will always come before schedules, fishing plans, or financial pressure.

We do not intentionally head offshore in dangerous wind or sea conditions. If forecasts, swell, vessel performance, or changing weather patterns raise concerns, we will always reassess the trip.

No fish, no charter, and no amount of money is worth risking lives at sea.

Our crew work hard to monitor weather systems, sea state, vessel readiness, safety equipment, and operational conditions before every departure to ensure the safest experience possible for everyone onboard.
