🎥 Behind the scenes at the York Residency Museum today, with Annie, our Museum Curator, speaking with 7News Regional.

The story features ANZAC Day and our new Harry Wood exhibition, highlighting a unique exchange of photographs between Harry, serving in Egypt, and Joyce in York, sharing images of baby Harry Thorn. It’s a special local story that brings history to life.

🌄 If you’re visiting York, it’s well worth a stop at the museum to experience this piece of local history.

☕ Gunfire Breakfast to follow at the RSL

🎖️ 10.30am – March sets off to the Memorial, Station Street
🕊️ 11.00am – ANZAC Day Commemorative Service

🏛️ From 12.00pm – York Town Hall open with historic displays, military memorabilia, family stories and more

🏛️ It’s also York Heritage Weekend, with plenty more happening across town.
