Gold Travel Counsellors trip to Singapore 🇸🇬. An amazing trip staying at the Grand Hyatt hotel on Orchard Road. Activities included a side car tour of the city, lunches at the Fullerton and Raffles hotels, private drinks and live music watching the light show at Gardens by the Bay, dinner at Ce La Vie at the top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel, beach club and go karts on Sentosa Island and a dinner cruise aboard a traditional sail boat! ⛵️

Final part of the summer adventure. Montreal - home of poutine and bagels, Quebec’s French heritage, Toronto and Niagara Falls. All amazing and different. Safe to say I’m stocked up on Maple syrup 🍁 for the rest of the year!

Part 4 of our summer adventure. This part is in the Canadian Arctic. Such an amazing place. So lucky to spot polar bears, seals, icebergs, northern lights, partial solar eclipse and art from the Inuit community. 🇨🇦

Part 2 of our summer adventure - this time to Iceland 🇮🇸! Starting off at the Edition in Reykjavik we then headed to the Ion Adventure hotel. A full day tour of Katla caves, Landeyjahofn black beach, and horse riding on Icelandic horses 🐎. Our final stop was the Retreat at the Blue Lagoon, for a relaxing and pampered few days, dining at the Michelin starred Moss restaurant.

Part one of our summer adventure was the Faroe Islands. Such an unspoilt place and very welcoming. Rugged shorelines, puffins, the worlds only roundabout under the sea, fishing and community were the highlights of our short trip there. It was once only accessible by boat from Scotland and Denmark but now Atlantic Airways, their national airline, fly directly from the UK, Copenhagen, Bergen and other cities around Europe. 🇫🇴

Beautiful weekend away at the stunning Lucknam Park Hotel near Bath, England. Staff were incredible as were the two restaurants, much of the food locally sourced. Thoroughly recommend!

Last week I visited Venice, primarily to see Andre Bocelli perform his anniversary tour in St Mark’s Square. I was privileged to stay at the newly opened Orient Express hotel which was set in an old Palazzo. I had a sneak speak of their Orient Express Suite. I also managed to squeeze in lunch at the newly refurbished Locanda Cipriani restaurant on Torcello.

Last week I was at Six Senses Kaplankaya in Turkey with my daughter. It’s such a beautiful place, perfect to spend time relaxing and recharging. They have one of the biggest spas in Europe. multiple private beaches and great restaurant options. Situated approximately an hour from Bodrum airport.

Last part of my Vietnam work trip. This time we experienced three hotels in Hanoi, all part of the Accor portfolio. First was the Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi - MGallery Collection for an overnight stay, then a site inspection and excellent dinner Fairmont Hanoi and then the incredible historic Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. We had a city tour of Hanoi, seeing the famous train street, museums, water puppet show and tuk tuk rides! Such a great trip.
