Honestly some of the best things in Sydney are completely free, like our beautiful rock pools. Our clients just adore them, this is a beautiful sunny day, yesterday however was raining, but our guests from Vancouver just had to get in and enjoy the vitamin sea.

Sydney has more than 35 ocean pools carved into its coastline, making it one of the ocean pool capitals of the world.
The Northern Beaches are home to some of the most scenic.

Built beside the surf for safer swimming, many pools naturally refill with seawater from crashing waves, and swimmers still spot marine life drifting in with the tide.Manly Visitor Information Centre

Happy Mother’s Day to every mum in the wild 🌿💚

Today we also celebrate the incredible mothers of nature, from kangaroo mums carrying and protecting their joeys for months in their pouch, to the countless animal mothers nurturing the next generation of life across Australia.

Did you know a kangaroo joey is born smaller than a jellybean and must climb into its mother’s pouch completely on its own? A kangaroo mum can even produce different milk for joeys of different ages at the same time, one of nature’s most extraordinary adaptations.

This Mother’s Day, let’s honour not only mothers everywhere, but also the habitats and ecosystems that wildlife families depend on to survive. Protecting nature means protecting future generations.

Happy Birthday, Sir David Attenborough

From the rugged cliffs of the Blue Mountains to the ancient bushland of Sydney’s national parks, your voice has helped us see these landscapes not just as places but as living, breathing stories.

You’ve walked among towering eucalypts, traced the calls of lyrebirds through dense forest, and revealed the quiet resilience of nature that thrives just beyond our city edges. Through your eyes, we’ve come to understand that these wild spaces are both fragile and extraordinary worth protecting, now more than ever.

On a personal note, thank you for inspiring my love of nature from a very early age. Your storytelling sparked a lifelong curiosity and respect for the natural world that continues to shape how I see and experience places like these today.

Today, we celebrate not just your years, but your enduring ability to connect people to the natural world. Thank you for inspiring generations to look closer, care deeper, and act with purpose.

With love and respect from our Founder Caroline and the Australia By Nature Team.

We had to apologise to our guests today. It was just far busier on the beach walk than we had expected 😉.

Another little slice of paradise just an hour from Sydney and we had the whole beach to ourselves.

Hard to believe this is the Northern Beaches a stretch of coastline that runs over 30 km and is home to more than 20 beaches making up over half of all of Sydney’s beaches
Yet somehow you can still find moments like this quite untouched and all yours.
