From the warm welcome by Melanie at the front desk to the quiet, uncrowded stretch of Eagle Beach just steps away, everything came together for a perfect stay.

Meet Aruba’s Most Charming Local – The Shoco!

If you're staying with us, keep an eye out for one of Aruba’s most beloved and rare residents, the Shoco, or Aruban burrowing owl!
This small, curious owl is native only to Aruba and is a symbol of our island's unique wildlife. Unlike most owls, shocos are active during the day and live in burrows on the ground rather than in trees. You might spot them standing tall outside their burrow, blinking wisely at passersby or swooping low over the sand.
📍 They are most often seen in the dunes, open fields, or near untouched natural areas. As a protected species, their numbers are limited, so spotting one is truly special!
🛑 If you see a Shoco near your property or during a walk, admire from a distance, never approach or disturb their burrows.

Our Story

Your friends at Prestige are under the leadership and guidance of Alan Riley, the managing director of Prestige Vacations Aruba, and who is well known on the island of Aruba. His industrial engineering and business management education, as well as his more than 25 years of experience with regard to real estate development, construction, appraisal, brokerage, vacation rentals, and property management, is quite impressive.

Alan’s better half and business colleague is Rachel Riley-Noordermeer. Rachel is well educated in hotel management and food & beverage. She joined our team towards the end of 2009 after a remarkable and thriving 15-year career in top positions of the hotel, timeshare, and restaurant industry of Aruba. Rachel concentrates within our team mostly on the vacation rental management and service; your simple contact with her will ensure you the best vacation experience on the island.

Together, Alan & Rachel, have an ideal and unique combined experience in both the property management and the leisure industry; so gladly they will share their experience with you, to help make your stay in Aruba the most comfortable and unforgettable one ever!
