Aruba’s Unique Buffalo Tourism Policy: A Great Success!
This is turning out to be even a greater success than was initially expected!
The success? No limits to what you can destroy!
And just think of all those trophies you can collect underway!
In the fauna category:
You can run over:
- cascabel (local endemic species of rattle snake);
- shocos (endemic sub-species of Burrowing Owls and a National Symbol of Aruba);
- newly born terns (they can’t run so fast yet, more for beginners);
- conew (these local rabbits are very swift, so please note, this is for the advanced category);
- patrishi (Crested Bobwhite) are also fun, but they are becoming more difficult to find (we apologize for that).
- no less than four species of critically endangered baby turtles (Leatherback babies, Loggerhead babies, Hawksbill babies and of course the Green Turtle babies. Sorry: only limited to our white sand beach off-roaders and when in season).
In the flora category:
- The most favorite are the Kabes di Indjan (Turk's cap cactus – aka Indian Heads – scalping these unique cacti really gives meaning to a unique experience.)
- and right after that, at a great second place, the flora dust decoration experience. The challenge in this category is in getting all that is green covered with a beautiful rusty colored layer of freshly uprooted dust. (Our locals find it a blessing when you shower their homes with this dust too and they also just adore the sound of buffalo, so go for it!)
Make sure you get your share of Aruba’s Adventure Tourism, an experience we will all never forget.
And to think of it, this was all created in Aruba for the children.
Yes, Aruba’s Unique Buffalo Tourism Policy is a great success!
