Almost everyone has heard of Baby Beach... but do you know about Rodger's Beach?

Rodger's Beach in Aruba is named after Captain Robert Rodgers, who played a significant role in the island's history. Captain Rodgers was in charge of the oil refinery in San Nicolas, known as the Lago Oil and Transport Company, which opened in 1928. The refinery brought economic prosperity to Aruba and greatly influenced its development. As a tribute to Captain Rodgers' contributions, the beach was named in his honor. Rodger's Beach became a popular spot for the refinery workers and their families, contributing to its historical and cultural significance in the area.
