There is an interesting tradition in Car Village, Zaqatala. During this time of the year, the process of drying persimmons takes place, and it is possible to witness such fascinating scenes on the facades of most houses. If you visit Zaqatala in the autumn months, especially in November, I believe it’s worth driving to Car just to see these sights.

I’d like to particularly note that if you go about 30-40 minutes before sunset, you can experience even more special views.

Recently, Alan Crossland embarked on a journey to Baku, capturing moments with his camera. Reflecting on the past, he realized he hadn't dedicated sufficient time to the Heydar Aliyev Centre during his previous stay. Returning for a revisit, he appreciated the juxtaposition of curves against the square angles of the nearby aged apartments.

Anticipating clear skies for ideal shots of the flame towers and the new boulevard building, Alan encountered four days of persistent low clouds and drizzle – a humorous twist. Nonetheless, he found joy in capturing reflections amid the rain. 😁

Although the mist adds extra beauty to the air these days, the colors of sunrise and sunset in the last month and days were mysterious. Glancing at my collection, I lifted a few.

Let me list them:

1,2,3,4 - Baku
5 - Goyazan Mountain
6 - Pirqulu
7 - Babadag
8 - Shahdag (taken from the direction of Khinalug mountain)
9 - Shahdag
