🛶 It’s Labour Day - which, of course, means we’re doing the only sensible thing: going slow.
Nice and slow. Boat-gliding-across-Skadar-Lake slow.

We’re spending the day at Skadar Lake National Park, the largest lake in the Balkans, shared by Montenegro and Albania. It’s a haven of biodiversity, home to rare species like the Dalmatian Pelican - the only surviving pelican species in Europe, and a dream spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers alike.

✨We’re in Sarajevo - the city that wraps you in its history, feeds you like family, and somehow makes time slow down in the best possible way.

We learned the history, shared some laughs, visited incredible places… and ended the day with a home-hosted meal that felt exactly like it should: warm, welcoming, and made with love.

Dolmas, every kind of pita you can imagine, soups that taste like someone’s grandma made them just for us - no fancy plates, just stories, full bellies, and the kind of comfort that’s hard to put into words.
