The Franciscan Monastery of Kraljeva Sutjeska, founded in the 14th century, is one of the three oldest and most historically significant monasteries in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nestled near the medieval royal court, it houses a rich museum collection of religious artifacts, baroque art, manuscripts, and rare books. The monastery library preserves over 11,000 titles, including 31 incunabula and documents written in the Bosancica Alphabet.
A peaceful and spiritual place, it offers visitors a unique glimpse into the religious and cultural heritage of medieval Bosnia.

As always, at the start of each season, all of our staff, leaders and guides went through the First Aid BLS/AED training and course.
With the professional staff of Sarajevo Hitna Pomoc, we practiced techniques and approaches in case of different injuries that could occur in the field and how to react in the best manner.
Fun day, with an amazing group of people and a lot of laughs!

Did you know, that deep in the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina lies one of Europe’s last remaining primeval rainforests?
The Perućica Forest is hidden within Sutjeska National Park and is one of the few untouched forests left on the continent.
Scientists estimate the forest itself is around 20,000 years old, making it one of the oldest natural areas in Europe.
