• THROUGH MEDIA: We provided research & coordination for more than 100 documentaries and including 3 world heritage sites, global warming issue & sea level rise, micro credit and many more interesting subjects in Bangladesh. Specially for Japanese TV broadcasting companies like NHK TV, TV Asahi, TV Tokyo, TBS, FUJI TV, Nippon TV, Japanese Print Media like Asahi Daily, Yomiuri Daily, Mainichi Daily, Nikkei Daily, Japanese production houses like Group Gendai, Visual Folklore, TV Man Union, Documentary Japan, Omnibus, Nikkei Visual and many more. In Europe we worked for BBC, National Geographic, ABC TV etc.
• We have served around 35000 tourists during the last 14 years, 70% of them are foreigners.
• We promoted traditional weavers, potters, honey collectors, rickshaw painters, otter fishermen etc.
• We are the only company that attended a single country fair at Tokyo, Japan in September’ 2007. Besides, we have been regularly attending international tourism fair since year 2000.
• We sponsored 2 different painting exhibitions on Rickshaw (year 2002) and Sundarbans mangrove forest (year 2003).
• The Bengal Tours Ltd., for the first time in Bangladesh (year 2008) had made a promotional video documentary titled “Bangladesh: the land of smiles” in 3 different languages (English, Japanese & Chinese) to promote the tourism industry of our country.
• We got the Bangladesh Hotel & Guesthouse Owners Association achievement award – 2005 as the best tourism company of the year. The Sundarbans Forest (world’s largest mangrove forest) being a unique spot for retreat not only in Bangladesh, but also in the world. It can be reached by waterways only. To conduct a comfortable, safe and enjoyable trip to the Sundarbans forest, we have our own Cruising Vessel, “M. DINGHY”, equipped with necessary facilities.
