𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗮: 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 "𝗛𝗮𝗷𝗷 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 - 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲" 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟴, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿'𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗷𝗷 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵.
Speaking at the event, the prime minister extended warm greetings to the departing pilgrims and sought their prayers for the country and the nation. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam and State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat were also present at the ceremony. The inaugural flight, bound for Saudi Arabia, departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 00:20 am with 419 pilgrims on board.
In line with the Hajj management roadmap announced by the Saudi Arabian government, approximately 78,500 Bangladeshi pilgrims will be transported this season.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Saudia, and Flynas will transport the pilgrims through 207 flights without operating any chartered flights.
𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗗𝗧 𝟭𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿.
On the opening day, a total of 14 flights, including six by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, four by Saudia, and four by Flynas, would take off from Dhaka.
