We want to bring to your attention the latest information regarding the Transit Without Visa policy for passengers transiting through Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) on Cathay Pacific (CX) operated flights.
Hong Kong Transit Without Visa policy:
1. Passenger transiting through Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific (CX) operated flights only are allowed to transit without a visa for journey to/from Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea (Rep.), New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA and Schengen Countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland).
2. Bangladeshi national’s holding Government and Diplomat passport are allowed to transit without visa via Hong Kong.
3. Passengers holding ordinary Bangladeshi passport traveling to China, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand transiting through Hong Kong to/from DAC on Cathay Pacific (CX) operated flights only are allowed to transit without a visa if they fulfil below two conditions:
Passenger having valid visa or proof of residency of Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea (Rep.), New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA or a Schengen Countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland).
Passengers must transit either the same calendar day or within 12 hours in the cross-calendar day.
